Ronald Harry Dawson was born on the 13th August six weeks premature to Rose and Frank Dawson. Medical care was not so advanced then and it was touch and go wether he would survive. He was so small and a cot hadn't been brought so he had to sleep in a chest of drawers drawer. He was to be an only child.
